The Girl Behind the Blog

Hey y'all! My name is Kelsey Digby. I am a style enthusiast and teacher who has a love for all things classy, Southern, and preppy. I am beyond thrilled to launch my very first blog, Shop. Teach. Georgia Peach.

If you haven't already noticed I just so happen to be completely monogram obsessed as well! There is just something so undeniably classy and elegant about them. In the words of Reese Witherspoon,
"My rule is, if it's not moving, monogram it!"

I am a second grade teacher, and a firm believer that your classroom should feel like home. The 2014 - 2015 school year will be my second year teaching. I absolutely love my job, and I thank God every day for the wonderful blessing and privilege that it is to be a teacher. I plan to share my classroom decor/layout, organizational ideas, and activities that I use in my classroom.

Most of my creative energy is spent on my classroom, but I also have a passion for crafting when I'm not at work. I absolutely love creating, re-purposing, DIY projects, and adding those little details around our house that make it a home. I really do enjoy all of my "wifely duties" like cooking, baking, cleaning, and organizing too. I do my best to embody God's idea of a virtuous wife by keeping the words of Proverbs 31 close to my heart.

I married my high school sweetheart on 9/10/11, and I sincerely consider my husband to be my very best friend. God has continued to pour blessing after blessing over our relationship through our faith, and I couldn't be more thankful for His favor. That sweet, sweet husband of mine is life's greatest blessing.

I look forward to sharing my love of fashion, teaching, crafting, and Southern living with y'all! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Tuesday,

Kelsey

    1. Hey! Thank ya ma'am! I am so glad that you like what you see on my blog. My craft desk is from IKEA. Yes ma'am. The cubbies are attached to the desk. One side of the desk has 8 cubbies (2x4) holding up the table top. I tried to find it on their website, so that I could give you the direct link, but I couldn't find it! I bought it about a year and a half ago at the IKEA in Atlanta. The desk is a part of their EXPEDIT Series. I hope this was helpful! :)

  9. I love your desk as well! I am in LOVE with the bold monogram above your desk, did you make it or did you order it? And the little pink storage containers on your desk where could I get something like that? I love everything on your blog and these would be perfect for my desk supplies in my first apartment!
